So sorry for the lack of posts over the last few weeks.... between juggling design projects, finalizing our new location, and trying to sell our remaining inventory before we leave at month's end, blogging has been relegated to the back burner. Every day I think, "Today I will finally get around to posting that fabulous (insert great idea here)." And every day I end up looking at the clock over a stack of work and invariably choosing sleep.
Though not the post I've been trying to get around to (which is truly fabulous, so check back in a few days for a peek inside my neighbor Jon's personality-packed home), I thought I'd quickly share some goodies resulting from tonight's research for a project: New rugs from Madeline Weinrib!
And while I have never actually seen a Weinrib rug in person, their frequency in shelter mags makes me almost feel like I have one. (Raspberry and white zig-zag, anyone?)
Sadly, for my first six months of business, I begged Madeline's representatives to allow me to sell her work, but as of now, they're still not represented by anyone in the area. Madeline, are you listening? Seattle needs us some zig-zag!
These are undoubtedly headed for a forthcoming issue or two of Elle Decor, and rightfully so: they are gorgeous. See for yourself.
(Might I add that Madeline and I both seem to be having a pink moment? I can't get enough of it lately!)

these are HOT, thanks for posting them!
sooo, are we going to be neighbors or what? inquiring minds are dying to know!
I was going to tell you which of these was my fave, but I cannot choose. i will have to get a bigger house if I am going to require all of these.

Lovely! I do hope RH&G gets to sell them -- you should definitely offer them online. There isn't an online retailer for MW as far as I'm aware and there's definitely a need (we don't have any MW-sellers in Houston, either!).
I've been searching for Madeline Weinrib rugs for a while now. When I was in Boston recently, I went to two stores that rep her rugs, only to find that they didn't have any. One lovely store rep said that they don't blatantly say they carry her rugs because the lead times can be months. I just wanted to see one in person before I bought from the mother ship, but it looks like that isn't going to be possible unless I visit NYC anytime soon.
Okay...I'm a pink convert! Brilliant.

p.s. Hope all is going well Leah. Been thinking about you a bit. Take care.
Glad to hear a few things:
1. That I'm not the only one having trouble getting my hands on a Madeline Weinrib rug
2. That I'm not alone in my pink love
3. That you are thinking about me, Carol!
Thanks for sharing, everyone!
